SALON POLICIES

Samel’s Beauty Lounge strives to provide each client with an unforgettable experience. In order  for us to continue serving you with an enjoyable and holistic salon experience, our policies are  below. Please consult with the salon manager/coordinator if you need any special  accommodations.  

*It is your responsibility to read and understand our policies before booking* 

Refunds: We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. After completing a service for a  client, especially since most services are time-consuming and can last for multiple hours, refunds  are not warranted.  

Color adjustments: At Samel’s Beauty Lounge, we strive to provide the highest level of service. Should you wish to have a color or toner adjustment, please contact us within three days of your  original appointment. If you do not notify us within three days of your original appointment, any  adjustment will result in additional charges. 

We do not offer express services: This means we do not offer dry cuts, wash and go’s, wash only,  or any service (s) that does not allow us to see the final result. If you wish to receive a blow-out  only, you must be an established client. 

Booking and modifications: Please book a consult with your stylist about the timing and  longevity of your scheduled service (s) and book accordingly. If you need to make changes to  your appointment, please do not wait till the day of your appointment as this will interfere with the  specialist/stylist’s performance; and will result in additional charges to your original scheduled  service(s).  

No children, additional guests or animals: For the safety of your children and the relaxation of  our guests, no children, additional guests, or animals are permitted in the salon. The only permitted  exception is for documented service animals.  

Appointments for Minor Child: Parents/guardians shall not leave a minor child on the premises.  The parent/guardian must remain on the premises with the minor child. 

Hair extensions appointment will require a deposit upon booking.  

Health Disclosure Required: *It is your responsibility to disclose any allergies or underlying  diseases while completing your intake form. We shall not be held responsible or held accountable  for any health-related issues that were not disclosed in writing during your intake. *  

Initial Consultation Required: We do not work over other salons work. As a first-time client,  you are required to complete our salon intake form and consult with a stylist prior to booking a  service in our establishment. We require consultations because we take pride in our craft and  respectfully adhere our specialties to our policies to ensure a long-lasting result in services.  

Credit card required: To schedule an appointment, your credit card information must be on file.  Your card will not be charged before services are rendered unless you cancel or make changes to  your appointment outside of our cancellation policy timeframe, which you can find below.  

• We respectfully require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to the service(s)  scheduled.  

• Same day cancellations will be charged 100% of the cost of the service(s) scheduled. 

• Should cancellations or changes to service(s) happen more than once, we regret that you  will be prohibited from scheduling future appointments with us.  

• As a courtesy, we will contact you by phone or send you a text confirming your  appointment 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please be sure to confirm your  appointment to avoid any cancellations in which a fee will be incurred.  

• Please note: all appointments are on a first come, first served basis.  

Lateness: Samel’s Beauty lounge has a 15-minute lateness policy. If you are running late for your  appointment, please call ahead to let us know. Should you arrive 15 minutes or more after your  scheduled appointment, you may have to forfeit your appointment completely, in which case a  cancellation fee will apply.  

No call/No shows: No call/no shows will be charged 100% of the cost of the service(s) scheduled.  

Cancellations: We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we  respectfully require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to your service(s) and/or  appointment. If you make changes to your appointment or to your service(s) outside of the 48  hour time period, you may incur in a charge for the original scheduled service.  

Smoking is prohibited. There shall be no smoking or vaping on the premises, inside or outside.  Clients should not have offensive or noxious odors on their clothing or on themselves. This is to  ensure that all clients are being respectful of each other’s time while visiting the salon, and to  ensure maximum relaxation.  

• If you need to take a phone call, please use headphones and refrain from speaker phone.  • If you are getting your nails done, please refrain from digging in your purse or pockets.  • Keep your hands accessible for your technician. This can add oils and debris to your nails  and will interfere with your service and the longevity of your nails. 

Nail adjustments: Here at Samel’s Beauty Lounge, we strive to provide the highest level of  service. All nail work is guaranteed for three days from lifting, chipping, peeling, losing crystals.  Should you wish to have a nail or color adjustment, please contact us immediately, and we will be  happy to assist you. Any repair or adjustment outside this window period may incur in a service  charge.  

Nail appointments: We do not work over other salons work. You must either come in with bare  nails or book a soak off with your main service. If you do not book a soak off with your  scheduled appointment and you have prior polish, crystals, and/or color, you will not be serviced  and will be charged 100% of the booked service.  

Manners and courtesies. Bullying, yelling, and any other disrespectful will NOT be tolerated. If  you need adjustments or feel any discomfort while visiting our space, please consult with our salon  coordinator in a respectful manner and we will be happy to assist you.  

Samel’s Beauty Lounge reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
