  1. What is the difference between a Cadō and Rëzo cut? 

The Cadö and Rëzo cut are very similar haircuts when it comes to curly hair. When coming to our space, we customize the haircut to the clients' needs. The focus is to offer the guest an excellent experience, while enhancing their hair. The curly specialists at SBL are fully certified and well trained to provide the haircut that suits the guest needs. 

2. Why do we start the services with a scalp analysis? 

Beauty starts from the inside out. If you don't have a healthy scalp, you can't have healthy hair. Caring for the scalp will allow us to see what's inside and how to assess each need better. At SBL we take pride in taking care of the health of the hair, not only the aesthetics of it. 

3. Are extra guests allowed in the salon? 

Our waiting area is limited and we want each guest to enjoy their experience while visiting our space. 

4. What if I am traveling for my appointment, and I need a companion? 

If you are traveling from out of the country or out of state for your appointment, please let us know and we will make sure we can accommodate your guests while on the premises. 

5. Are kids allowed in the salon? 

To maintain a serene and relaxing atmosphere for all our guests, we kindly ask that children join us only if they are scheduled for a service. This ensures everyone can fully enjoy their time with us.

6. Does my appointment get cancelled if I am running late? 

If you are running a few minutes late, notify the salon and we will make the required accommodations. 

7. How to prep my hair for a curly cut? 

We kindly ask you to arrive with clean, air-dried hair that is fully detangled and brushed out, with minimal styling products. This helps us to see your hair in its natural state.

As a curly specialty salon, we require the hair to be prepared for the appointment as it will take extra time from the appointment. Failure to do so will result in an extra charge. 

8. What if I  book the wrong service?

Please read our service description before booking with us as each specialist takes the time to prep themselves before your visit. If you need to make changes to your appointment, please call the salon once you get the reminder for your appointment, so we can make any changes. 

Drastic changes made on the same day of the appointment will result in a fee. 

9. Do I need to have clean hair for my appointment? 

We don't necessarily require "clean" hair. But it depends on what a person considers clean. when coming to your appointment, the hair must be freshly washed on the same week of your appointment. 

10. Do we have a cancellation policy? 

Yes we do. Please refer to our policies and make sure you understand them.
